Do it, yo. |Db

Why do bugs attack me when I mow the lawn? ;;

Also, not only has my driveway been taken over by small yellow butterflies, but also a good length of the highway by my house. It's like they're invading. D:

My friend's birthday is coming up on the 30th~ I'm-a draw her something, me thinks. She likes horses lots, so probably something like that.

Also need to do some research on Bolivia and work on an OC for Vix. \o/
Though I have been brainstorming how to represent the fact it has two capitals. And whether or not it would be boy or girl, since that would greatly effect how I do the former. Hm~

Did two loads of straw today. Only 6 left. \o/

Today was pretty dull. I spent a lot of time today and yesterday procrastinating and watching Disney films and remembering why Lion King 1.5 is the best movie ever.

"Everything the light touches... belongs to someone else."
"Strange, I thought you were going a completely different direction with this."
"What can I say? It's nature's design."
"We're meerkats! Feared by no one and eaten by all!"
"But when they die, they become the grass, and we eat the grass, right?"
"Not exactly, we can't digest grass; we're grass intolerant."
"...Thank you, Uncle Max."

Seriously, I can quote pretty much that whole movie. ._.

There's a spider crawling around but every time I get a tissue to kill it with it runs off to somewhere I can't get it. I did somehow manage to get a few of its legs though so it probably won't go too much farther. *glares under printer*

Gonna walk myself up to the post office to mail my fan cards tomorrow morning~ *squee~*

Mom wanted to see the cards before I sent them. I didn't really want to show her though. I've never really shown her any of my fan art-type things. She doesn't know my fandoms (apart from Pokemon, but even then I don't show her anything, because she doesn't really get it). The last time I tried to show her my fangirl-y otaku-esque side her reaction was pretty much, "I don't get it. What do you like about this? What's the point? I've seen about enough. Whatever."

I told her she wouldn't understand, but she wanted to see them anyway. To "admire the artwork," she says. Yeah, okay Mom. *facepalm* They aren't like the arts I did for drawing class, Mom. [Note to self: Should upload said "arts for drawing class" sometime. They're far more beautiful than anything else I've ever done, for serious. I know that sounds arrogant, but I'm really proud of those~♥]

Oh, and I'm down to 168 pounds~ That means I've lost 12. :D
And only 3 more pounds to go until my driver's license is accurate~
Now maybe if I'd stop shirking on my walking and dancing I'd be doing even better. :|
But at least this shows that simply eating smaller portions is working~
And dancing is difficult with parents around the house. ;;

Since I'm approaching checkpoint one (165 - driver's license weight), I'm starting on checkpoint two, which is to fit into these two shirts I bought in New York City on my senior class trip last year.

You see, the one thing I wanted to do in New York was go to the Nintendo World store. I told my friend this, and knowing it was my life's ambition and being the wonderful friend she is, she agreed to go there with me despite the fact that she herself is not a gamer or nerd of any sort. We got there, and of course, the place is filled with, well, people like me. There were two kids walking by discussing the different berries in Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire, a conversation which completely baffled my friend. Also, since the place is virtually made for people to come and play video games together, there were some consoles set up and some guy playing Star Fox suddenly yelled, "DO A BARREL ROLL." and everyone burst into laughter, except my friend who simply stood there with a blank expression. ._.
Also, there was a giant Pikachu, and so my friend was like, "I'M-A TAKE YOUR PICTURE WITH PIKA~! :D"

ANYWAY. There were these two epic awesome shirts I simply couldn't not buy, so... uh... I bought them.
However the catch was that the largest sizes available were Youth XL for one and Youth L for the other, which, of course, at the time, fit in a way that made me look like a stuffed sausage.

Now they're starting to fit much better. =3=
But I still have a small bit of flub that shows when I wear them that I'd like to get rid of, so~

My long-range weight-loss goal is actually 140. Mom thinks that sounds awfully low for my height, but I dunno. I think it sounds like a healthy weight. My current BMI is about 28, which is apparently still considered overweight. Gah. I know BMI is total BS anyway, but... still. STILL. I dislike that I'm embarrassed to wear pretty things because they show off flub. I hate not being able to wear them because I feel like they're prettier than I am. I just want to be thin and pretty and able to wear pretty things and cosplay. ;;

Mom suggested having steaks on the grill for lunch, to which I groaned, because they're too freakin' huge and I can't eat the whole thing anymore. She told me I shouldn't let it get to the point where I don't eat anything. I was like, "What? For serious, Mom?" She obviously hasn't seen the way I've been eying that candy bar over the last few days. I'm surprised Dad hasn't eaten it yet. That man eats everything. EVERYTHING. I mean, I'm not going to freaking give up food. I love food. ♥ ;;

I'm glad you're worried about me, Mom, but you know... I'm still eating three meals a day. I still whine when I'm hungry. I tell you to buy food I like when it's on sale. I DON'T THINK I HAVE A PROBLEM.

Yeah, I quit pop all together, but I'M PRETTY SURE I'M NOT GOING TO QUIT FOOD.

Besides, life is so boring without food. D:

...So... we ended up having hamburgers for lunch. Except in hot dog buns. That was a new experience.

Well, my parents like my art, but... I really hate having to explain everything to them only for them to say, "I don't get it" and not even try to understand. I show them my generic and/or original art willingly and proudly, but fan art? Pfft. Forget it.

It is. XD
We had leftovers from the bonfire we had a while ago though, and Mom wanted to use them up somehow.
We like, cut them in half to fill the bun better. It actually wasn't too bad, though I still prefer a regular hamburger bun.

LOL OMG YOU FOUND OUT ABOUT THE TWO CAPITALS!!! And... does that mean something in the Hetalia universe? Cuz it would be the first I heard of it.

If you design him I would draw him everywhere *is loyal to her country <3*

Actually, I knew about it since we had to learn all the Spanish-speaking countries and their capitals in Spanish 102 last year. But yes, I KNOW YOUR SECRET.

It doesn't have to mean something, but usually countries have little bits of their appearance that represent a place or part of their history. For example, America's glasses are Texas, and his ahoge represents Nantucket. And supposedly Florida is his you-know-what. Something like having two capitals is pretty unique and would probably be represented visually in an Hetalia character.

I had no idea that America was so... IN DEPTH OH GOD <3333 I AM SO CONFUSED AND SO AROUSED.

I'm probably going to watch the Hetalia dub when I get home because of you. Just so you know.

I saw your Twitter thing on DA and seriously just... XD

The Florida thing is mostly just the accepted fanon. (The other two are completely canon though.)
Also, if that's impressive, I hear Prussia hangs five meters.

The original webcomic and subbed versions are more cute/adorable, but the dub for some reason... Funimation's really catering to the fangirls. XD;;

That's what my friend on twitter told me too, but seriously, that's pretty awesome. FANS CAN BE COO'.
